Nicola advised the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust for many years, educating and guiding trustees on building up and overseeing a portfolio of sustainable funds. In her capable hands, we put together a range of funds of which we could be truly proud and which we felt were contributing to a better world. The outstanding performance of those funds enabled the Trust to increase its grant making by 50%. We will always be grateful for her enormous contribution.

SGI-UK is a lay Buddhist society with a substantial endowment. Nicola has been our financial adviser since 2013 when we decided to make some initial investments into equities. She guided us through our first beauty parade and the selection of a fund manager. Since that time she has helped us to revise our investment policy, given us bespoke trustee training, created an ethical investment policy and helped us to construct a diversified portfolio, which has met our financial objectives. She has managed detailed periodic manager reviews, as well as regular quarterly market updates, quarterly reviews of funds and she prepares us for manager meetings. Part of the success of our relationship is down to our shared values, Nicola being particularly knowledgeable in the area of sustainable investment. The fact that we have been working together for over 10 years now indicates our satisfaction with Nicola’s work.
